Midlife can be a time of crisis or an emergence.

A reexamination of our values, beliefs, and truth, or a doubling down on those ideas projected onto us through the first half of our lives.

It can be a time to embrace the most authentic expression of ourselves, our desires, and our hopes, or a time to sink further into others’ expectations, or our fears and insecurities.

We may struggle with hormonal changes, identity shifts, value changes, and our mortality.

Aging parents, teenagers, the empty nest, loss of loved ones, and new and worsening health issues. Maybe we are caregivers now, and exhausted by the stress of caring.

Maybe there is strain in our most cherished relationships as we begin to see more clearly what we need for ourselves.

  • We decide what we want proximity to and why.
  • Is that power, status, and wealth, or safety, humility, and inclusion?
  • What are our priorities? How do we live them?
  • What old ways of thinking no longer serve us?
  • What might we need to shed to give way to more authentic expression?

It’s a confusing time for sure.

It’s a time that, with intention, offers greater awareness of self and what matters most. Both/And. Grief and growth in the same space and time.

The last five years have brought tremendous change for me. While my lived experiences are unique to me, I share intuitively the understanding of just how “brutiful” (brutal-beautiful) this time can be. And I’m here for it.

I’m not leaving the career/leadership niche in coaching, but I’m expanding my focus. I’m accepting clients looking for a partner in their midlife exploration and development. It is my most profound honor to do this work. If this might be you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
